A bit about Copperwoman
“Open your heart, Let your voice come through, Just the way you do it, Nothing to compare to.” Copperwoman has been gifted in this lifetime to “catch” songs for us—for people who want to sing together to raise the collective vibration in a prayerful way, and for those who might be afraid to sing. She offers a safe space in which to find your voice and express that which lives within and wants to come out vocally. Her most passion-filled moments are when she finds herself surrounded by a group of people singing with her.
Copperwoman was born to sing! She has been singing and making up melodic rhymes as long as she can remember. She brings people together to sing in gatherings called “CircleSong” throughout California, and has been an integral part of the ritual backbone at the Women’s Herbal Symposium in Laytonville. She is a keeper of Sacred Space and weaves a thread of harmony from beginning to end, whatever the occasion or gathering.
She has several albums of original “singable” tunes including one called “Gratitude”—songs she wrote during her healing journey with cancer as well as 2 albums of children’s songs she wrote while being a pre-school teacher. She is mother of two grown offspring and Grandmother to her daughter’s two beautiful children.
Having visited Peru several times, Copperwoman carries an energy of pachamama and a certain depth of ancient connected earth culture.
Let us create a unified field together of love, joy, fun and prayer!
On another side of life, Copperwoman is a “technowitch.” She creates websites, designs all sorts of printed materials, and can teach you how to use your mac or fix it for you.
