So I arrived in the Lima airport, made it though customs and the luggage scans unscathed. I first enjoyed an ice cream at 4D in honor of Musi who brought me to Peru in the first place. Then I wandered the airport for hours looking for a place where I could sleep. I spent a short time in the bright lights of the chapel and in a couple of different hallways. I could find no rest and finally succumbed to Starbucks, a cup of tea and some internet. At last 3:30 came, I went to pick up my luggage that I stored for ease of wandering the airport. Checked in and headed to the gate. On the way it occured to me what a fine photo essay was right before my eyes. Therefore, I present to you, “Sleepers in the Lima Airport.
